The student will be able to program in Matlab several numerical methods to solve partial differential equations related to renewable energy and engineering science issues : Laplace's and Poisson's equations, Transport equation, ...). Students will gain a solid grounding, with a particularly practical aspect, in numerical methods adapted to the solution of partial differential equations : the finite difference method and the finite volume method .
