The objective of this course is to strengthen the foundations in the physics of electricity and electromagnetism.
The goal is to learn how to use and become familiar with Maxwell's electromagnetism formalism in the form of local and integral analytical expressions and to understand the physical phenomena involved.
The achievement is to
present Maxwell's equations and still be able to manipulate them in their
compact expressions.
In summary, electromagnetism remains the foundation for electricity production and electrification (electrical engineering), for studying electromagnetic compatibility, for studying electronic circuits operating at frequencies exceeding gigahertz, for studying waves for telecommunications, etc.
